A mat under a deep canopy is not exposed in the same way as one placed on an open pavement. Direct rain, standing water and uneven ground can rule out otherwise attractive materials.
The base must suit the floor and the installation should not trap water or create an unstable edge. Rubber constructions can be useful in demanding areas, but each doorway still needs individual review. Send clear photographs and explain the weather exposure when requesting a quote.
